In September 2000，with the approvals of State Ministry of Commerce and Shanghai Municipal Foreign Economic Relations & Trade Commission (Hu Jing Mao Mao Fa Zi (2000) No. 1083), and registered at Pudong Administration of Industry and Commerce (Registration No.: 3101151015758) and thus established, Shanghai Xingpu Import & Export Trade Co., Ltd. was the first personal holding integrated import & export trading company with state shares in Shanghai, and with the status of independent legal person.

Since 2007, Xingpu has been one of Top 500 Creditable Foreign Trade Company appraised by State Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (now known as State Ministry of Commerce), and has been one of Grade AAA Creditable Companies appraised by Agricultural Bank of China, Shanghai Branch.
